My favorite part of grooming is seeing the dogs that I have become besties with. It is truly rewarding to see an anxious or fearful dog blossom into a wiggly kissy pooch that is super excited to come through the door and get pampered! My all-time favorite breed to groom is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They have the nicest temperaments and are always ready for a mid groom smooch break!  Rebecca

I think the biggest misconception about my job is that it is easy, playing with puppies. It is a lot of cleaning, to keep things safe and sanitary for each pet, and requires a lot of knowledge and practice to keep things safe and comfortable. Also, I go home every day covered head to toe in dog hair! Melanie

What is one piece of advice you like to offer to dog owners to help maintain the coat between grooms? 
One piece of advice I’d like to offer is that if you’re unsure about using the right brushes or products for your dog, just bring them in and ask us. Were always willing to help show you the right tools and proper ways to keep your dog brushed out and if you bathe your dog at home always make sure to brush afterwards!  Leanna
